During a session depending on the client needs, I will use one or a combination of practical life coaching techniques and the other skills that I have to help each individual explore the different options available, make practical choices as well as address any negative or dysfunctional thought patterns.

The exact number of sessions required depends upon the individual and the complexity of the situation. Some issues can be resolved in just one session (i.e.: Phobias, Stop smoking, Fear of Flying.) for more complex issues several sessions may be required.

On the first session, we will discuss the nature of the problem, work together to address the cause of the problem, deal with any ‘emotional baggage’ that may be impacting on it, and resolve the issue by using all the appropriate techniques.

If needed, follow up sessions will usually last one hour, unless otherwise agreed with the client. The number and frequency of coaching sessions can be adjusted to suit your individual circumstances. You can arrange sessions to be weekly, fortnightly, monthly or on an individual basis – whatever seems best for your needs.

If you are taking any medication it is not ethical for me to advise you in this respect. It is necessary for you to continue to see your doctor to discuss your medication; however I can still work with you to achieve relief from depressive thoughts and feelings.
