Reiki

The living body, human or animal, radiates energy and warmth. This energy is the life force itself. In China this energy is called Chi, in Japan is called Ki and it is from this word that Reiki is named.

Reiki Healing is a laying-on of hands touch healing system of incomparable ease and power. Reiki energy heals the whole person.

The act of laying hands on the human or animal body can bring comfort, relieve pain, speed up the healing process and balances a person’s chakra and aura energy.

Most metaphysical healers believe that all physical pain has non-physical roots in emotional trauma, negative mental patterns, or spiritual despair. To heal the disease, these roots must be discovered and treated.

Reiki is totally positive and can never cause harm to any living thing, whatever their condition or status. It can be used on anyone no matter how young, old or frail.

While Reiki will not heal most congenital birth defects, it can bring about clear improvements in even seemingly hopeless conditions.

For the person living with a permanent disability, the Reiki energy may not be able to correct the condition, but helps to make living with it as comfortable as possible. The energy eases pain, relaxes tense muscles and calms the emotions.

Where a limb or body parts has been amputated, Reiki cannot replace it, but it will help the person to adjust to the loss and to new ways of functioning

Reiki can be used alone or in conjunction with medical (or veterinary) treatment. It will not interfere with medications or other procedures, other than to make them more effective and the patient more comfortable. Reiki works beautifully with herbs and homeopathy.
